How do they verify AKC registration? What's to stop me from saying my pups are from AKC registered parents, when they really weren't? Maybe I could have 3 sets of dogs and only one is true AKC and I just say all my pups came from them?
I just wondered as i was reading the thread. They don't do dna or anything right? I was wondering how much difference having papers or not really makes. (though obviously, your odds of a purebreed with papers would be higher than without assuming there are not more than a few breeders trying to pull such a scam.
