I agree with Donna. You can find a lot of cheap carriers that are easily as well made (if not better than) the brand names I see most often on here.

Unfortunately, many of the bags are great for the smaller pups, and my ginormous ZoE doesn't fit in them. I have 3 large Kwigy Bo's that I use for her and they work fine for me, although they are not the greatest quality construction for the inflated price tag.

I have a CeCe Kent Nantucket that I used with my last yorkie, and it was a really great bag quality wise, and because it was real leather, the straps broke in nicely to the shoulder. I so wish I could get it in a larger size.

I saw some Kate Spade dog carrier purses at TJ Maxx this month. They looked nice, but again would best fit a 4-7lber...not my ZoE. If I had a smaller pup I'd definitely be looking at TJ Maxx and home goods.
