I have just been through something similar. My dog always asks to go out to pee and I thought to poo also, but I found she was going poo in my daughter's closet some of the time!! I realized I do not always keep her out long enough to finish her business and she thinks it is ok to go both outside and in the closet. I kept all the doors closed and watched her more closely for a while and when I take her out to pee I walk a little more to a different spot and give her extra time and she has been going poo outside now. So, my advise is give your dog more time to go when you take him out and he will realize he needs to do both outdoors. |
