 Big baby with floppy ears
Hi, I am new here but I thought this would be a great place to get some advise. I just took my fur baby Ellie to the vet to get her shots and a check up. She is 9 1/2 weeks and weighed in at a whopping 3 pounds. My vet asked me if she is a purebred because she doesn't usually see Yorkies weigh this much at this age. She also told me that my little girls ears may never come up because they are very floppy and that there is nothing I can do to help them stand. I got the impression that she wasn't very knowledgeable about the breed. I left feeling a little deflated. Anyone have a Yorkie that weighed that much? |
