Welcome to Yorkie Talk. Many Yorkies are quiet, barkless, for their first 6 months to a year. Max was barkless for his first 6 months. Teddy was 8 months old when we brought him home and I think he only 'gurgle' growled for another year before he let out a bark (sounded like he was gargling mouthwash, and he still does it). It took another 2 years before he became a champion barker like his brother.
You could video tape the sound she makes and show your vet to ease your mind. Post a video here too and maybe we can give you some insight.
