I agree with OwnedByJezebel because when I took Remy to the vet at 1 lb 6 ounces they sent me home with the flea/heart worm medicine and told me to wait until he is 2 lbs. I still haven't given it to him yet because he is just a little over 2 lbs but I will give it to him soon.
