How old is your baby? The core vaccinations do not need to be given every year. Like others have said they can last 5 years or longer. Some people advise doing a titer test on the dog to determine if the shot is even necessary. Over vaccination can lead to serious health issues.

By law here in Texas they do rabies around 4 months, then at 1 year and after that the rabies is every three years.
