I also plan to exercise pen him when I am at work (which is only PT, 2 days a week).
Any advice on dental care (tooth brush?), grooming (how many times to bathe him), what to do with his ears when I bathe him, and honestly ANYTHING would be appreciated.
I've been reading up a lot on different posts on YT and any experienced owners with good sound advice would greatly be appreciated!
Thank you!

P.S. Onyx does the CUTEST thing of sticking his tongue out when I pet the top of his head as he slowly rolls back. I cannot wait to pick him up this Saturday. |
Hi Elina....Congratulations are your gorgeous puppy. My yorkie still sleeps in my bedroom in his crate at night. I only use his crate for him to sleep in. I have a pen for him to stay in when I have to run out and do errands. Otherwise, he has the run of the house with my supervision. Remy is only pee pad trained right now and I like that way. Lol. I bathe my boy once a week and he is fine. Some people will bathe their dogs maybe 2x a week or even once a month. I really think it depends on the dog and his owner. You just have to be careful that you don't dry out his skin. Watch out for hypoglycemia with small puppies. I would suggest getting a tube of Nutrical. You are starting off right by reading through the threads. You can just about find anything using the search button. Best of luck!!
