I apologize for not answering your questions in your last post.
Yes the vet did take x-rays and a few tests. She said he was all good with all tests. She didn't ever come out and definitively say he has vestibular disease. She said it "looks" like his problem. After all of my internet scanning research I have to agree. He doesn't seem to be in pain. He does get frustrated and he whimpers every now and then. He is able to cry out but he hasn't. He is eating like a horse. He does have problems picking food up with his teeth but he manages. I feed him with a spoon. I also hold him up to drink water which he gets plenty.
I suppose its possible he could have taken a tumble when no one was home. He likes to jump from furniture to furniture and we do have hardwood floors. So yes its possible a fall could have started all of his problems.
