LOL! I shouldn't laugh, but they are definitely dangerous. I don't know how many times I've hurt myself while chasing them in play, tripping over the dog gate, or not so gracefully avoiding stepping on one.
But, I don't think it has to do with age, my 6 year nephew hurt himself playing too.
