I'm going to be honest here, with the advancement/severity you are witnessing/describing you really should save the money and get to a specialist, each case is different but I strongly advise a vet school or a specialist. You MAY pay a little more but in the long run you will save money and you will get right to the problem. I have a friend where I work whose pup had it as severe as yours, seeing it was excruciating and heartbreaking. She didn't know a thing about specialists etc and thought I was nuts....but then I told her "Pat if this was your CHILD what would you do? You would not be afraid of spending money or hurting your vets feelings" she went to Cornell, this pup is doing amazingly better and shows very little symptoms.


I think for your own piece of mind and heart you really need to consider this. Good luck and keep us posted, good thoughts coming your way.
