My girls do not murder toys, but, very occasionally, my boy will and I worry about the filling so much even though he spits it out. My kids will play with fabric, squeaky toys, ropes and kitty tennis balls occasionally, but do not care much for rubber toys. Good luck...I hope you find the 'perfect' toy.
Gina has the small blue dragon and she plays and sleeps with it, I just got her a floating soft frisbee and a kong wubba and she loves bothe of them, she has way too many toys, but my kids are grown up so I spoiler her.
