I had a yorkie that did that, so I bought a pet bowl in a stand and put it on a rubber mat with a raised lip. That kept him from being able to do this as easily and the rubber place mat with the rolled lip kept the little water that he would still splash off my wood floor.
The rubber place mat was sold in the pet store, it's so dogs can drag their bowls around. |
