It sounds like he is fine. Keep liquid benadryl in the house and find out the dosage from the vet so you are ready if this ever happens again. The fear is for those that suffer anaphylactic shock and you would know THAt almost immediately. After benedryl check dogs gums (they need to be pink, not white). If dog vomits or shows any signs of distress=VET.
