Hi and welcome to YT. Animals communicate by smell she's just being friendlhy. Did the trainers think she was being overly assertive? Buster's always been a laid-back dog. When certain dogs approach he will be standoffish and for others he might just rollover. I just feel he's less threatened by these dogs and he's a better judge of dogs then I am. It's better to have a dog that's friendly then one who wants to bite or attack at least.
