Thank you Maximo. My goal is to get him trained to use both (inside on pads and outdoors). I live in NYC in an apt and when it is bad weather outside like rainy, snowy, etc I would probably not take him out. So then, he would use the pad. If I lived in a house with a backyard it wouldn't be a problem to have him trained 100% outside.
