Welcome to YT! I did the same as you, I welcomed a Yorkie into my family after putting down my 12 yr old Maltese. Like you, I thought of getting another Maltese b/c the breed is just so sweet and loving, but I, too, thought it would be too hard so I opted for a Yorkie and oh how glad I am am that I did! The are the sweetest SMARTEST and most loyal dogs ever! I can't imagine life without my Sophie. : )
