We're going to the vet to get his second round of shots tomorrow so I will definitely bring up the problem. When you say pee string, how much hair makes up that string because my boy seems to have a lot of hair there. Enough to look like a small paint brush when wet.

Yeah he hasn't been groomed yet. Going to bring this smelly guy to get a wash and trim this weekend.
