Default Senior with behavioral issues

My dog lost her companion 18 months ago. She has not been easy since. Though it is understandable, she was better but now seems to be getting worse. Initially it was depression, but now she's not doing the things that dogs should do, like eating or going to the bathroom or walking without coaxing - a lot if it. She's also been diagnosed with pancreatitis and 1st stage kidney disease, so her diet has changed much to her chagrin. She's never alone either because she's got sitters who spoil her as I have. I have clearly let this go on too long. I am at wits end, and I am looking for suggestions of good obedience regimen/training/maybe antidepressants on top of this. Thanks so much.
