My daughter Carla delivered a beautiful baby girl Scarlett Rose on 1st July. She got to meet her Uncle Alfie when she was 4 days old, we were very careful and a little worried that he may be a little jealous but oh my goodness he just loves her and guards her.
The first day he barked at anybody who went near her car seat or touched any of the stuff that smelled like her, now we (parents and grandparents are allowed to pick her up and her stuff). Every time she wiggles a toe, makes one of her teeny wee cat noises or has a little sob, he is up and over to check on her.
