So Gizmo was groomed on Saturday and the groomer said he was very hyper. She suggested that I take him for a long walk before his appt next time or give him some melatonin. That long walk is easy, at least you would think so. I have noticed after his walks he seems to be even more hyper. We walked for almost 90 minutes last night and when we got home he was running around with his toys as if he had just woken up!!!! He's like the engerizer bunny! I take him for a 20 minute walk in the morning and after dinner we walk about an hour. Any suggestions on calming him down and thoughts on melatonin? Now I'm worried he might get nipped if he doesn't calm down at the groomers.
