Our new baby Lyric is 9 weeks old. As we were walking out the door with him we noticed that above his tail and the base of it were bald. The rest of his back hair did a good job of hiding it before. The owner said that it looked like it was shaved for a skin scrape because it looked like it was starting to grow back already. My vet said that it may have been his momma that licked him until his hair fell out, trying to get him to poop. Has any breeders or anybody with mommas and babies seen this before? He's not itchy at all and none of his other fur seems affected. Thanks for your insight!
