Definitely see the vet. If you can videotape prior to his vet visit what happens, that could be usefull information for your vet. It could be something as simply (although can be deadly) as hypoglycemia or as 107 Barney indicated a more much more serious issue - ie liver problems, epilepsy, neurological problems etc.

And also check out the puppy lemon laws in your State.
