First off, welcome to you and your little girl. What is her name. Would love to meet her too.
My girls were all pad trained while babies and in their expen that I attached to a wire crate. Even though I took them outside about every hour or two, I still had a pee pee pad down so that they would not get use to making a potty on the floor in case they needed to go when I was busy or running errands. They are now 9 & 8 years old and boy am I happy that they are pad and outside trained. Saves getting them out on rainy days, traveling, going into motels and not wanting to go outside at night or early morning in strange areas or bad weather. We do take disposable pads when traveling, but use quilted cloth pads with waterproof backing at home.
Putting the pad down inside the expen was also perfect when two of them had knee surgery and were convalescing. It's all up to each person what works best for them. |
