My Gizmo does both as well. Maybe take them both for walks together. That's how I trained Gizmo to go outside, I walked him with my daughters little dog dash. Once he seen dash go on a walk, he did the same. Now he almost refuses to use the pads, unless he can't go for a walk, like right now his leg is hurt, so he has no choice but to use the pad. He preferes now though to go outside and will hold It till he goes for his walks, but he did start out on pads only, so yes they can be retrained, definitely :-) |
