Unless he is "bone sticking out" skinny, looking malnourished, I wouldn't worry so much about trying to put weight ON him. Concentrate on making sure he has an adequate amount of good quality food for his nutritional needs, and his body will balance out. When you look for high calorie treats, be careful that they don't have too high of fat content that could lead to gastro problems or pancreatitis.

Some doggies are just meant to be more slim. My Tiki is that way, and her vet says it is not a bad thing at all, and that he prefers to see them this way than overweight.
