I've just had Jasmine since October so I haven't taken her that many places besides work. She loves my co-workers children that come into work and everyone else who comes into my office and workplace.
We got our Westie in June and took him to all the softball games. My granddaughters play and won the state champion and went to Colorado for the states regionals and one's team won there and even went to New Jersey for the Natiionals. Sorry I just had to brag a little.
Back on the subject: Duffy loved the kids this summer who wanted to pet him. I always had him on my lap or on a leash. He and Jasmine both love kids, in fact they both just love everyone. My only problem with them is that they want to jump up on everyone. I have 8 grandchildren ranging from 4 to 20 who are always at my house so I'm sure that has helped with them loving children. Both of them are both very social. I don't know if that is because of my grandchildren and taking them to work with me sometimes or that is just their personalities. Murphy, is not as social. He is more shy and afraid therefore sometimes he reacts to something or someone he is not familiar with by growling or barking. We are getting him a little more socialized since he came to live with us. He does love all the kids.
I plan on taking them to the ballgames again this summer. I hope I don't have a bad experience with anyone concerning my dogs, but people can be rude and inconsiderate at times. |
