Congrats on your new baby. Each time I came home with a new baby my older girl / girls wanted no part of the new one. They took to higher grounds (the sofa) where they were safe from the bouncing, biting fur ball. As soon as the puppy was able to jump on and off the sofa (about 6 weeks) the older ones had no choice but to accept the new one. My first girl was not jealous or pouting when I came home with 2nd baby, I showed my first one she was the Alfa girl, when I came home with # 3 my older ones were 6 y/o & 3 y/o again, no jealousy, or pouting, just stayed off the floor away from baby jaws. Show Trixie more attention so she may not be jealous, as far as fear, she'll get over that in time. The new baby is all bouncy and biteie, older gals don't like to be pounced on and nipped at, she will adjust in her own time. Don't force the baby on her, let Trixie come to the puppy in her own time. Soon they will be the best of pals.Good luck and enjoy the double trouble duo lol.
