I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread about pet insurance and get everyone's opinions. I didn't see a post like this recently (if there is, I apologize), but I thought it could be informative.

What company do you use/recommend?
What sort of coverage do you feel is necessary?
Do you use add-ones such as wellness and dental?
What do you pay monthly (if you feel comfortable sharing that info)?
Anything else's you feel could be helpful in helping a new pet owner choose pet insurance?

I've always had pet insurance on my pets, but I've only fostered for quite some time, so I am hoping some of your replies will help me in my research for Sheldon's insurance.
