Hi and welcome to YT. I can't help but wonder if there is a bad health issue going on here, where your little guy is actually in some kind of pain and is hiding/sheltering due to this. His behavior is def not normal and I think he should see a vet asap. If it's deemed strictly behavioral,then I think this fella is a perfect candidate for either prozac or valium or both.
