I actually hadn't tried it with the mesh on, as I used the mesh as a sort of barricade lol I just put the pad down in it, cause it's like a half box (or a box with one side having the opening). Funny thing is, it came with a "pillar" for leg lifters that can be installed into the mesh XD lol wound up tossing it since I have a girl and no boys at all. I do like how that one seems to actually hold down the pads. So far she's stopped dragging the pads around but if she keeps it up I may get that one later.
