I just took my baby to the vet yesterday and the lady gave her an application of Revolution that helps with fleas, etc. & heartworm. It's topical, but she mentions that she may or may not have a temporary thinning spot there or hair loss. I don't feel comfortable giving heartworm meds orally, that and the fact that this is a "all-in-one" is a plus, cause I don't want to have to give multiple treatments.
