Saw this thread but haven't read it as I've been on answering some sweet PM's and am going to have to get off again but my PCP recommended staying off computer for a month at least to avoid aggravating my neck and starting that bad headache, which I just can't get to leave once it starts! But thanks so much for starting it and the many prayers and posts it seems to have. You all are so very dear and caring. I wouldn't have staye away for anything but a have-to basis! Ugh! The neck/headache have bested me for a while and being on the computer and typing and holding my arms out to cursor, etc. hurts it for some reason! And that starts my headache! ! I can't take pain medicine worth a darn as it all gives me a worse headache except for something called Esgic which I can't take whole as it makes me nauseated but can take slowly in pieces over time until I get the whole thing down so I'm pretty much in a world of hurt once the pain starts and only avoid things that start it helps.
I've been in withdrawal from YT as I was totally addicted but for now, I'm pretty much just not typing or putting my neck in positions that strain it. Lisa suggested a Chromebook as a way I might could surf the net without getting in the awkward position I have to get into to access my laptop now. I swear sitting for so long with my neck turned to the left must have strained the muscles and started this off as once I tried to get back online and felt a sharp pain in my left neck and got really dizzy. The ortho said that episode pretty much tells him the headaches are from the neck. Anyway, got a Rx for PT and then maybe a MRI/neck injections if the PT doesn't fix me up. I'm otherwise fine and Tibbe has been a prince helping his mommie by being funny and cute!!! Love and miss every last one of you all. Sorry to worry anyone - just didn't want to start that awful headache but I finally had to jump on today and let you guys know I'm fine except for that. Love, Jeanie and Tibbe, too!
