My best advice is to realize they are fragile small dogs that THINK they're big. I was holding MJ with one hand in a tall chair when he jumped off of it out of no where! Luckily, he didn't get hurt, but I spent $200 in x-rays that day. It was VERY scary. Then, he runs faster than I walk and I've kicked him like 5times already. It's like having a toddler that's as fragile as an infant. Keep them away from high places and while they're a puppy, watch them at all times. I don't know how clean you are, but I'm constantly scooping out small pieces of food/dirt out of his mouth that he found on the floor. (Don't worry, I'm deep cleaning today)
