 For new parents
Hello All,
I just wanted to mention to all the new yorkie parents out there that when you are going over your expenses when looking into getting a new puppy, to please also add in $1000 for vet costs in the first year, just in case. I just see it so often posted that people can't take their furbabies to the vet because they don't have the funds. Another option is to get pet insurance right away. I know it can be as cheap as $9 a month. It's just so sad to reads posts from people who are desperate to medically treat their babies themselves because they cannot afford the vet bills.
