Also not all breeders dock the tail properly, too many of the backyard non show breeder types tend to take way to much of it off. All my other pups did have a tail about 3" but my sister's yorkie is cut almost down to the butt and I have seen that alot |
That's how I was feeling, I wasn't to sure about the tail but then I realized it was only because I was used to docked tails. Well now I have a yorkie with a full tail and I am just loving it. One of the things I am surprised about is how much I love her already. I have to admit, when I first brought her home I thought it was too soon after my Brandi passed away. It had bee six months since she passed and for the first week or two I think I was feeling guilty about getting another yorkie so soon. Almost like I was dishonoring her but Dutch would just wiggle her tail and I slowly came around and now I am totally in love. She worked her yorkie magic on me.
I had to realized I wasn't replacing Brandi. SHe could never be replaced. I still have her ashes and a lock of her hair and I sort of introduced Dutch to Brandi by letting her smell her hair..
