Default Water fear etc

I can see you may have problems with the weather, especially in the cold winters.
Some more comments to add to those already suggested above.
My dog does not like the rain also, but he hates the noise of the wind in the trees that come with it too. I have a raincoat for him and providing I don't cover his eyes with the hood, he seems to put up with rain better. Yes I do wash his feet and legs after walks, even in the summer as he has seasonal allergies. You certainly don't want him licking salt.
My boy is only potty trained outside, but if he has a rare emergency he goes in one spot he chose ( by the trash can, LOL!) in the tiled kitchen. I have never used pee pads.
If it is raining hard I put his raincoat on and carry him over to his grassy peeing place, and carry him back. We all still get wet though. Aaarghh!
