Personally, I would use omega 3s instead of glucosamine. I use a capsule of nordic naturals omega-3 pet. It says 1 capsule per 20 lbs on the bottle, but I use 1 capsule for my 7 lb dogs and 2 capsules for my 10 lb dogs per day.
