#1 One of the most helpful important items to have was a small ex-pen, to keep the pup safe and confined until potty trained. This is the one I loved:

#2 A pet carrier is essential to transport pup to vet, and to take them places. My first fav was a small Sherpa, but I quickly acquired many others.

#3 Chewy toys so they don't chew on you and furniture etc.
