Many of you have likely seen it before, but for those of you who haven't, here you go. I especially like the part where the weirdly prepared concoction actually passes nutritional standards
Ever seen food for humans produced? It's no less disgusting / odd / weird. I recommend you watch Forks Over Knives...utterly fascinating, disheartening, and downright scary. Makes one feel pretty powerless over our ginormously powerful food/ag industry.

Everyone has a right to post anything they want on this forum and voice their opinions. I must say though that I am growing weary of your little campaign.

You feed raw and swear it is the best. I get that.

You say you want to educate others. I don't get that. It seems to me that you only want to post things that will validate your choice to feed raw and you do that by saying other foods are inferior.

Yes, there were recalls and yes, dogs died. What we don't know is how many dogs have become ill and/or died from illnesses due to raw foods.

No one feeding method is superior. It is what works for each individual and their pets. I don't post articles about the things I feed to "educate" people by bashing raw. I would ask you to please refrain from bashing the foods I feel work for my pets. I cannot make you do that...I can only tell you that I find it offensive and unnecessary.
Raw is definitely not immune to recalls, deaths, etcetera. I've never experienced a recall myself -- but I've seen them pop up here and there...so yup, you are correct in thinking they happen. Also, Prey Model raw-fed dogs (who eat RMBs) have died from choking on bones - it's a fact. Of course, dogs can even choke on kibble as well (remember how little Tatum did?)...but it goes the same way for raw too.

I don't like diet/food bashing or denigration either....I think it 100% closes down everyone's mind, they just snap shut and the convo becomes about something else entirely...and it's just too negative for my tastes. I feed raw, and yet I TRULY and absolutely believe that a healthy dog can come from kibble, canned, freeze dried, home cooked, raw, vegan, what have you -- as long as you're getting reasonably close to the RDAs.

I understand that some people think "kibble is crap" and accept that as their opinion...but I don't see how it achieves anything to say that, nor do I find it educated. And on the same token, I'm sure there are plenty of people here who think "raw is crap"...and again, not only is that uneducated - but it does nothing toward having a calm, decent, factual, actual discussion. Saying stuff like that turns it into a confrontation instead...which is a real bummer bc that achieves zilch.
