Has she been checked/graded for LP? You may want to do that sooner than later bc if she's a higher grade, surgery would then be more needed/imminent. Is she lifting her leg yet or anything? If no, that's a good sign. I didn't have to do LP surgery for my Wylie until he was about 8.5 yrs old bc although he had a Grade 2-3, he showed no symptoms whatsoever until that age.

I wish I knew of something that actually did help support the joints, but I really don't.
