I am so very sorry. Please don't feel guilty .. perhaps the following link will help you. I found it after Ozzy died...he died after choking on food. I was able to get the food out but then shortly after, he collapsed in my arms. Thankfully this article made me come around and realize that when it is time, it is time. For us, there is no good time.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for you to find some peace. You just have to allow yourself to grieve ... it is terribly painful.
