Panama City has one dog friendly beach at one end of the beach and I can't remember what direction. There is a dog friendly restaurant at the beginning of the dog beach where you can sit outside and watch the ocean. We also walked through the nice outside mall across the street from the beach and all most all the stores were nice about you bringing your dog in the store.

As we walked along the dog friendly beach, I understand why dogs aren't allowed on most beaches. PEOPLE, PICK UP YOUR DOG POOP!!!!. I am always embarrassed when I walk somewhere with my dogs and see piles of dog poop on the ground. I am afraid people think my dogs are the ones that pooped there and I didn't clean up. I also noticed people walking their dogs on beaches where it was clearly marked...NO DOGS ALLOWED.
