I think the points that Gemy and Yorkiemom I made are important ones. It really depends upon the breeder that a pup comes from. Though she was raised in a family setting and was greatly loved before she came to us, Katie adjusted beautifully, much faster than I ever thought possible. I believe Katie loves her new home with us (for the past 26 months), but I know in my heart she will always love her other first mom. I can tell how loved Katie was by her breeder because of her confidence, love of life, great temperament, and loving nature. It is because of Gemy and another close friend of mine, Jackie, that I have Katie, and I could not be more grateful to them for bringing Katie into our lives and for her breeder who entrusted us with her precious girl. I missed out on the first years of Katie's life, but her time with her breeder had such a powerful, positive effect on her life and disposition. |

I LOVE the personal testamony about Katie....all my dogs that I bought retired from the ring, loved their show experiences, and the people they were used to socializing with and the families they grew up in.....like Katie, all had a wonderful, positive experience on my ladies. If you have a wonderful, loving breeder that is showing her dogs with concern and love and respect, you will see that in her dogs! They love what they are doing and they "Sparkle, Neeley Sparkle"!!!!! (I know after I groom Boss, we put him down and we clap and whoop and cheer and he thinks he has won the room!!! He prances and struts and absolutely just bubbles over!)
