Wow I didn't know green bell peppers turned into red ones when ripe! I don't really care for green ones, but love the red ones.
It's kinda late to put in tomatoes in your garden now, unless you can find plants still at your nursery. BUT make sure you check your plants daily for caterpillars. I found four of them that decimated mine. Get a few bird feeders to attract birds and they eat the bugs. Or get a praying mantis (those are all sold out at my nurseries too). I found about 6 more baby caterpillars today when I was working in the garden. ARGH!
