My first yorkie, Mickey (he's 6 years old)... didn't make a sound either when I got him... I told my husband that he was the most expensive hamster ever...
Anyways... I thought all yorkies would be like him....
My Jasmine, who is 16 months old more than makes up for Mickey ... she can make you ears bleed.... it's so high pitched!!!!
Consider yourself lucky.
