Hmm, I thinking to agree it's being out in the sun/heat alot suddenly. Granted I'm sort of basing this on my personal reactions, but not too long ago I spent more time in the sun than I had in years and the very next day I literally lost alot of my appetite. I couldn't even finish half my lunch. When i commented about it to some friends or clients they all mention something about being in the sun alot can make you lose your appetite, or as my best friend calls being "sun-zapped". Might not hurt to ask the vet about heat/sun exposure. You can try to premake a decent amount of the food ahead of time and have them kept in the fridge or freezer to be served later in the case of being away for a bit, for your sitter.
