I always vaxed a pup up to date as long as they were in my care and never charged. This made me very uncomfortable. Not until after I paid deposit did the price go on her website. I had a ballpark idea but it came in pretty high. $1600 or $1875 with AKC.
Now she is telling me how lonely he is going to be because his sister is leaving this weekend.
I am very tempted to sacrafice the $500 deposit and walk.
Please tell me your opinions as I have not been a breeder in over 20 years. I am older and want a small happy family. I can't collect dogs and I want the ones I have to be mine forever.

I am a bit confused, the Dad can't be proven if he hasn't sired a litter
I have to say she is not vaccinating according to the AAHA standards as their first shots are not until 10 wks old. And 12 wks old is still what is recommended for pups to leave home.
I think you walk on this puppy, as he is not what you had wanted, and her methods/treatment of you seems to be less than ideal. And depending about your verbal and written agreements I would ask for my deposit back too
