You talk about potentially showing and that you were a breeder (and may be starting over?), so I'm assuming you're buying a dog you won't be required to neuter and will have breeding rights? If such is the case, the price is at the low end of the spectrum. It sounds like this guy does not meet you're requirements, so I would walk.
A dog, especially a yorkie as they usually live longer than larger dogs, is a long term commitment. Get what you want! Get what you'll be happiest with. If this pup isn't it, look elsewhere.
