Dogs don't forget their owners THAT easily.

Before I had my furbie, my family and I used to dogsit a beagle. His name was Snoopy. His family would go overseas for vacation and he'd stay with us. We loved Snoopy and he loved food. He was a dog that's totally food-motivated. He'd be happy where there's food.

That was for the first couple of days. By the fourth day of their seven-day trip, he'd sit by the door, watching, waiting. He'd cry and whine. He even stopped eating!

When his family came back, he was jumping, pawing, just in cloud-nine.

This happened the first time we dogsat him and many more later.

No, dogs don't forget their owners.
